LuxurySurf.com currently focuses on 2 world locations;
Jeffreys Bay,
South Africa and Punta
de Mita,
Mexico. These locations offer contrasting
styles but both provide unique and interesting cultures, diversification
and a strong bond with the ocean and waves. Our choice of
locations comes from direct personal experience.
| We spent
a number of years in Sayulita, 30 minutes
from Punta de Mita, built a home there
and enjoyed the tiny fishing village, however we found
we spent more and more time on "the other side"
as we thought the surf was better and we liked the south
facing beaches. We found Ventana del Mar and loved it
from the beginning. Big, spacious, separate bedrooms
all with their own bathroom, and best of all you could
check the surf from bed. |

Three years
ago we went to Jeffreys Bay, South
Africa really not knowing what to expect. We were totally
amazed by South Africa. The Safari and wildlife encounters
are something everyone should experience. The Eastern
Cape reminded me of California 30 years ago. Clean,
beautiful scenery, great food and relatively inexpensive.
And then there was J Bay... everything said about the
wave is true. |
It simply one of the best right hand point
breaks in the world! We bought the last remaining lot at Supertubes
(there are only 8) and with the help of our friend Nardo created
"Dolphin House".

We have added some other properties. Those where we have stayed
and know the owners. Our goal is to have a network of
6 to 8 locations, all with top quality accommodation
and surf.
